Threatened by the aggression of the warriors of the Hittites Egypt's nineteenth dynasty has been ruled for some time by an eminent ruler, whose reign threatens, however, new dangers. One of them is a palace plot involving. a big brother who wants to take his place. Conspiracy in the vicinity of Ramses also has close links with the Hittites who intend without conquest make the rich Egypt dependent on the new pharaoh. Also at their court is a hidden battle between the prudent brother of the Hittite ruler - Hattusil, and his violent and ruthless son Uri-Teshubem. Pharaoh's diplomacy cleverly tries to use it, but his efforts are impeded by the mysterious illness of his beloved spouse's spell. In order to save her, Ramses first has to go south and acquire the "stone of the goddess" as a magic potion, then head north to Kadesz to resolve the issue of domination in the east and save Egypt's sovereignty.
