Polonik (in poetry)

Polonik - a five-segment segment, accented with SssSs or sSsSs, commonly found in Polish poems. Polonik is part of, among others, eight-sour (5 + 3), nine-syllable (5 + 4), ten-syllable (5 + 5), elevosplant (5 + 6), twelve-syllable (7 + 5), thylosophage (8 + 5) and poisoned (multi-mediocre), for example, twenty-syllable (5 + 5 + 5 + 5).

In the Polish interpretation of the algebra strofy, there are five times: 11 (5 + 6) / 11 (5 + 6) / 9 (5 + 4) / 10 (5 + 5). The term 'Polonik' introduced Karol Wojtor Zawodziński to the Polish version of the terminology.
