He had a university degree, from 1930 until 1949 he was chairman of the Executive Committee of the Kaluga Regional Council, and from January to November 1949 was deputy chairman of the Executive Committee of the Leningrad Regional Council. On November 15, 1949, he was arrested in connection with the "Leningrad case", sentenced to death on October 28, 1950 by the Military College of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on charges of "participating in a counter-revolutionary organization of destruction" and shot. His ashes were deposited at the Cemetery of Doń. May 14, 1954 was posthumously rehabilitated. Bibliography
