She studied at the ballet school in Gdańsk, in 1983 she won the bronze medal of the 11th International Competition for Young Dancers in Lausanne. In the years 1984-1992 she was a soloist of the Ballet of the 20th Century Maurice Béjart, then took over the chairmanship (together with Marco Cantalupo) of the ballet company Compagnie Linga in Lausanne, in which she is also a dancer and choreographer.
