Yuri Francew
Юрий (Францов), born October 1, 1903 in Moscow, p> Curriculum vitae In 1927 he graduated from the Leningrad University. In 1942 he became a doctor of history. From 1931 he worked as a lecturer. From 1940 he belonged to the WKP (b), 1945-1949 he was director of the Institute of International Relations in Moscow. From 1949 he held managerial positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR and in the party press ("Prawda"). He also worked in "Waprosy Filisofii", in 1958-1965 he was Rector and Head of the Department of Communist Science at the Academy of Social Sciences, editor in 1964-1968. "Miracles and socialism", and in 1968-1969 deputy director of the Institute of Marxism-Leninism at the Central Committee of the CPSU. On June 20, 1958 he became a correspondent, and on June 26, 1964 he was a student of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. He specialized in social philosophy and atheism. Between 1958 and 1959 he was president of the Soviet Sociological Association. He was an alternate member of the CPSU Central Committee. Honors Bibliography
