Wlodzimierz Osadczy


Włodzimierz Osadczy (born April 25, 1969) - Polish historian, habilitated doctor. Curriculum vitae

Doctorate (Plane of coexistence of the Greek and Latin rite Catholic Church in East Galicia after Concordia 1863-1914) defended 18 March 1998 at the Catholic University of Lublin. He was employed as an adjunct professor at the Institute of History of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin. He is currently working as an associate professor in the Department of Church History in Modern Times and The History of Theology at the Institute of Church History and Patristics at the Faculty of Theology of the Catholic University of Lublin John Paul II and at the State Higher School of Vocational Education in Chelm. He is also the director of the Center for Eastern European Studies - KUL Center of the Ucrainicum.

Between 2006 and 2009 he was Chancellor of the European College of Polish and Ukrainian Universities (currently the Center for Eastern Europe of the UMCS). Member of the Eastern European Commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, Member of the Board of the Voivodship Association "Polska-Wschód", President of the Polish-Armenia Association, Lublin Branch.
