Wiesław Kmiecik


Wiesław Kmiecik (born 14 December 1956 in Jasło) is a Polish speed skating coach. trainer Zbigniew Bródki.

Speed ​​skating began at the age of 19 in the SNPTT Zakopane club. In 1981 he graduated from the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. In 1982 he achieved his greatest professional success - at the time of the Polish championship he finished second in the third place - in the 5000 m and 10,000 m races. In 1983 he served in the military training WKS Eagle Elblag.

Since 1984 he has been working at Pilica club Tomaszów Mazowiecki. Jaromir Radke and Paweł Abratkiewicz, who led the medal of the junior world championships and the successes of the senior citizens, as well. Ewa Wasilewska, Artur Szafrański. In 1988 he became the coach of the Polish national team, in the years 1997-2000 he was leading the youth team, in the years 2000-2002 he was responsible for long-distance running in the senior staff. In the years 2002-2007 he worked with Justyna Kowalczyk and Aleksander Wierietelny as a skateboard consultant. In the years 2007-2009 he was a coach of the junior staff, in the years 2007-2010 the vice president of the PZŁS. In 2010 he became a coach of the Polish national team. He led Zbigniew Bródka to victory in the 2013 World Cup final and the Olympic gold medal at the Sochi Winter Olympics (2014) and the team of Zbigniew Bródka, Konrad Niedźwiedzki and Jan Szymański to the bronze medal at the same event. >
