Stenus (Tesnus) solitarius - a species of beetle from the family Kusakowat and subfamily of the thief (Steninae).

This species was described in 1886 by David Sharp, who pointed out Guatemalan Cerro Zunil as a typical location.

Cut the sixth sternite male pointed and rather deep. The hole in the rear of the fifth sternite is slightly more focused and golden hairy. In front of this hole sternit flattened. The hair and scoring of the fourth sternite are more delicate in the back.

A neotropical beetle, known from Guatemala and Costa Rica.
