Rene Fernandez Apaza (born 9 January 1924 in Padilla, Bolivia, 14 August 2013) is a Bolivian Archbishop. Curriculum vitae

He was ordained a priest on November 28, 1948. On March 2, 1968, he was appointed bishop of the diocese of Oruro and was ordained bishop on the same day. On November 21, 1981, he was appointed Archbishop of Coimbra from the Archdiocese of Sucre. In April 1988 he was appointed archbishop of the Cochabamba diocese. He retired in 1999.
