She graduated from Silesian Medical University (Silesian Medical University) in 2007 and she was employed at the Department of Ophthalmology, where she is still working today.

In 1998, he obtained his Ph.D. from the "Polymorphism insertion and deletion of the angiotensin converting enzyme gene T and the development of retinopathy in type 2 diabetic patients" (Wanda Romaniuk). Habilitated in 2013 on the basis of the assessment of scientific achievements and work entitled "The contribution of incrementalmethods in biosynthesis of metalloproteases and their tissue inhibitors in retinal pigmented epithelial cells."

He is an adjunct professor at the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Ophthalmology and Oncology in Katowice (at Ceglana Street). It belongs to the Polish Society of Ophthalmology.
