Carl Hudson

Carl Hudson (born October 22, 1983 in Boston, Lincolnshire) is a British pianist and keyboardist who has appeared with Professor Green, Emeli Sande, Beth Rowley and Jocelyn Brown.

Since June 2011, Hudson has been playing the Keys of Professor Green, both on the road and in the studio.

Since 2010, he has also played on keyboards with soul artists Omar Lye-Fook, Leon Ware, The Jones Girls and Jean Carne in places in London and the UK. Hudson works closely with studio producer SoulPerson, records and plays alongside veteran Jamiroquai and drummer Nick Van Gelder. Carl released his first album, Zoology For Martians, in May 2013. He created it in collaboration with such musicians as Nick Van Gelder (drums), Andy Tolman (bass), Terry Lewis (guitar), Bob Dowell (trombone) Neil Waters (trumpet). Zoology For Martians is an album that depicts the evolution of life on Earth using funk-jazz and soundtracks. This effect was achieved through the use of many analog synthesizers such as Prophet '08, Oberheim and Matrix 6. The album also includes extensive notes written in a style similar to Sir David Attenborough's British naturalist.
