Military Academy of Logistics and Transport
Military Academy of Logistics and Transport (Russia) Военная академия тыла и снабжения - Soviet military academy, originally in St. Petersburg, then in Kharkov.
The St. Petersburg Academy of Intendent was, after the revolution, on March 15, 1918, transformed into the RChA Military-Economic Academy (Военно-хозяйственная академия РККА); In October 1920 it was merged with the Naval Academy of Finance and Economics in one facility - the RChAC Military and Economic School and the RChFC (Worker and Peasant Army Red and Worker and Peasant Red Fleet).
In the years 1924-25 the Academy was reorganized - decentralized, its faculties were mostly taken over by other institutions.
In 1932, the Military-Transport Academy was established in Moscow.
In 1935, the Military Academy of Economics was re-established in Kharkov. On February 16, 1939, it was named M. Molotov.
Since 1942, the Academy has been called the Military Academy of Logistics and Supply (Военная академия тыла и снабжения).
June 1, 1956 Military Academy of Logistics and Supply and Military Academy of Transportation were merged into the Military Academy of Logistics and Transportation (Военная академия тыла и транспорта).
