Francesco Severi


Francesco "Luigi" Severi (born 28 May 1907, died 20 May 1980) is an Italian racing driver. Career

In his racing career, Severi has devoted himself to racing in the Grand Prix and in sports car racing. In 1937 he won the Italian race Targa Florio. In the years 1936-1937 Italy was classified in the European Championships of AIACR. In the first season of the season, 28 points came in at 18th overall. A year later he collected a total of 39 points. This gave him 33th place in the final drivers classification.

In sports cars, he was twice successful in the 24-hour Spa Race (1936 and 1938). In the years 1934-1935 he was victorious in Italy, in Targa Abruzzo. Bibliography
