Drain points
trigger points - small, hypersensitive areas within the muscle or muscular fascia. Under pressure they cause tenderness and pain that is radiating or projecting. They appear frequently in muscles exposed to prolonged overload. These are caused by, inter alia, stress, fatigue, traumas and microsurges, systemic and postoperative disorders, and muscle failure. Deleting a trigger point is not tantamount to eliminating the factors that affect its activity.
