Šturec (tributary of the Starohorský stream)
Šturec - brook, right tributary of the Starohorský stream in Slovakia. Is a V-row.
The stream flows at an altitude of about 1110 m in a spring basin on the southern slopes of the unnamed peak of 1180 m between Motyčska hoľa (1292 m) and the Veľký Šturec pass (1010 m) in Veľká Fatra. It has 3 right-side tributaries, one of them is Biely potok. It flows into the Starohorský creek in the village of Motyčky at an altitude of approximately 650 m.
The whole catchment of the Šturec stream is located in the forested areas of the Great Fatra, within the protection zone of the Low Tatras National Park (formerly this region was included in the Low Tatras.
