Stanisław Kozłowski


Stanisław Franciszek Kozlowski (born February 24, 1888 in Lviv, died September 22, 1939) is a Polish mechanical engineer.

He was the son of Antoni and Juliet at Merkel's house. After graduating from junior high school he started his studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Lviv Polytechnic. He graduated in 1906 and started work on railways. From 1916 to 1918 he fought in the ranks of the Polish Military Organization, was a participant in the defense of Lvov. After 1919 he headed the electrical department of the District Railway Administration in Lvov, in 1922 he became manager at the Persenkówka Power Plant and then the Chief Executive Officer at the Municipal Electric Works. He belonged to the Association of Polish Electricians, the Union of Reservists and the Polytechnical Society, where he served as secretary and vice president in the years 1920-1923 and 1925-1934. After the Red Army entered Lvov on September 22, 1939, one of the squads took over the power plant and ordered it to be commissioned within a few hours.
