The interior of PT-91 Twardy
Drawa - Polish fire control system of combat vehicles used, among others in the Polish PT-91 Twardy tank.
The system was developed by the Warsaw Industrial Center of Optics S.A. The first functional model of Drawa was created in 1988. The first devices went to prototypes and the first PT-91 series tanks (about 35 cars). This model got the SKO-1M / Draw mark. It uses the PCN-A night vision sighting device with a microchannel light amplifier, used instead of the original active night vision device TPN-1-49-23.
Soon, however, it was replaced by a new variant - SKO-1T / Drawa-T, in which instead of the PCN-A crosshairs a PCT sight with a thermal imaging camera was used. Purchases of the 1st generation TES (Thermal Elbow Sight) cameras, at the time representing the global standard, were carried out in the Israeli company El-Op. In total, up to 2000, PCO bought 202 of them, almost all of which were mounted in tanks.
