Coat of arms of the commune of Opinogóra Górna
The coat of arms of Opinogóra Upper represents the blue silver tower of the castle with four holes in the shape of a thorn. On both sides are two golden wings, above them two golden crows with folded wings and gold rings in the beak, facing the outside of the shield.
The coat of arms was adopted by the Municipal Council on June 2, 2014. Symbols
Symbols of the coat of arms of the Opinogóra Górna commune take into account the role and significance of the Krasiński family, as well as directly referring to the characteristic architectural element, ie the castle tower, which represents the Upper Gory. The tower of the castle is depicted in the central part of the shield, a characteristic element, and its caption is visible to all who reach Opinogóra from a distance of several kilometers. Wings and ravens are elements that appear in the coat of arms of Wincenty Krasiński, and were placed in a similar form at the top of the tower of the castle. There is a central element of the tower (also one of the elements of the above mentioned Wincenty Krasiński coat of arms), which in the coat of arms of Opinogóra Upper was replaced by the silhouette of the tower.
