Teodor Paleolog


Teodor Paleolog, (gr.) Θεόδωρος Κομνηνός Παλαιολόγος (born around 1263, died after 1310) - son of Michael VIII Paleologue and Teodor Doukain Watatzina, granddaughter of Emperor John III Watatzes. Curriculum vitae

He was born around 1263 and was the youngest of the sons of Michael VIII. In 1295 he was imprisoned in Ephesus during the rebellion of Alexei Philanthropenos. In 1305 he fought with the Catalan Company at the Battle of Apros in Thrace. The last time is mentioned in 1310 as one of the witnesses of the treaty with the Republic of Venice. Bibliography
