Sergey Yevgenyevich Bieriezin (Russian: Сергей Евгеньевич Березин, born March 11, 1960 in Nizhny Novgorod) is a Russian speed skater representing the USSR, the bronze medalist of the junior world championship. Career

The greatest success of Sergei Bieriezin's career came in 1980 when he won the bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in Elverum. In the same year he competed at the Olympic Games in Lake Placid, earning fifteenth place on the run for 5000 m and tenths at twice the distance. Four years later, the Games in Sarajevo fell to 5000 meters and the competition ended in 32th place. He also participated in the Calgary Olympic Games in 1988, where his best result was ninth in the 10,000 m race. Also in 1983 he took sixth place in the multi-sport world championships in Oslo.
