Frank Clement
Frank Charles Clement (born 15 June 1886, died 15 February 1970 in Northumberland) is a British racing driver. Career
In race car racing, Clement has been racing mainly in sports car racing. He was a member of Bentley's famed Bentley team. In the years 1923-1930 the British appeared at the rate of the Le Mans 24-hour race. In his first season he finished third in the podium and was fourth overall. One year later, he won class 3, which was equivalent to winning the race. He again reached the finish line in the 1929 season when he was third in the Class 5, placing fourth in the overall ranking. In his last start, he was on the second stage of the podium both in class 8 and in the general classification. Bibliography
