Wanda Moszchenska
Wanda Moszzeńska (born 2 April 1896 in Krzywoszyje in Ukraine, died 18 January 1974 in Warsaw) - historian historiographer, methodologist, mediologist. Curriculum vitae
She studied in Moscow (Szaniawski University, Moscow University), from 1918 under the direction of Jan Karol Kochanowski and Marceli Handelsman. Assistant to the Historical Seminary, University of Warsaw, 1924-1926, since 1927 assigned to the University of Warsaw. Doctorate in 1923, habilitation in 1934. She taught until 1939 in Warsaw grammar schools and at the University of Warsaw as a private doc. During the occupation, active in secret teaching. In the years 1942-1945 imprisoned in Pawiak and in concentration camps. Since 1946 at the University of Warsaw, since 1954 the Associate Professor. Since 1946 a full-time lecturer in medieval history at the University of Warsaw. 1954 Associate Professor at the Department of Polish Feudal History / since 1956 in the Chair of Polish History of the 19th and 20th Centuries. Vice Dean WH UW 1954-1955, Dean 1955-1956. Head of Department of History of Historiography and Methodology of History Teaching IH UW 1957 (Chair since 1961). Retiree 1966.
