Rotomat
Rotomat - powered by a battery or power supply, a device for storing watches with automatic tension and for turning them. Rotameters are used when the owner of an automatic watch does not wear a timer or if he or she has at least two automatic wristwatches. This is especially useful when the watch is equipped with complications - such as a calendar or moon phase indication.
Rotomat is used to store one to several watches, putting them in a circular motion similar to the movements of the watch worn by the owner. Continuous movement of the watch prevents thickening of the lubricant, which in turn translates into its longer service life. Bibliography
