Michela Giuffrida

Michela Giuffrida (born January 12, 1964 in Catania) is an Italian journalist with ties to Sicily and a politician, Member of the European Parliament for the eighth term. Curriculum vitae

Graduated in communication science, in 1988 she became a journalist in regional television Telecolor. In 2006 she became the director of the PrimaLinea TG information program. In 2012 she was employed at Antenna Sicilia as director of information programs. She also co-operated with the daily La Repubblica.

In 2014, the Democratic Party was elected MEP.

Honored with the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic V class.
