Czesław Karol Pakosz (born 1776 in Nowogródek, died 1812 in Russian captivity in unknown circumstances) - General Brigade of the Duchy of Warsaw.

He was educated at the Knight's School in Warsaw. After the outbreak of insurrection in 1794, he fought on the streets of the capital, then on other battlefields. From 1796 an officer of the Polish Legions in Italy. He participated in all Legion campaigns. In the years 1800-1802 honorary adjutant Tadeusz Kościuszko and unofficial representative of Poland in the French Ministry of War in Paris. From 1806 in the Army of the Duchy of Warsaw. In the Prussian campaign as Chief of Staff of 3rd Division Jan Henryk Dąbrowski. He took part in the battles of Tczew and in the siege of Gdansk, and in 1807 at the Battle of Frydland. From 1809 he was a fligeradiutant of the Prince of Warsaw Frederick Augustus, from whom he was appointed three years later. In 1812 he joined the Confederation of the Polish Kingdom. In 1812 he took part in the invasion of Russia. At Borisov, he was wounded and taken to Russian captivity. Bibliography
