Chilni Lüüt - in Swiss German: wild folk, legendary figures associated with Mount Rigi in the Western Alps.

Wild folk, according to local legends, lived in the ancient times the slopes of Mount Rigi. They were small people, close to the dwarfs, extremely nimble and lively, and more endowed with many supernatural powers. Their children, just after birth, had to remove the spleen, which affected the ability to jump on the mountain slopes with the agility of chamois.
