Ansis Petrevics

Ansis Petrevics (born March 6, 1882, November 27, 1941) is a Latvian lawyer, judge and advocate, politician, journalist.

He served as Minister of Justice (1926), Minister of Finance (1928-1931), Minister of the Interior (1931).

After the outbreak of World War I during the Soviet occupation, he was arrested and deported to the depths of the USSR on June 14, 1941, where he died on November 27 of that year.

In 1929 he was decorated with the Great Ribbon of the Order of the Restoration of Poland. His brother Andrejs (1883-1939) also became a lawyer and politician.

The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus.
