Annika Strandhäll
Annika Strandhäll (born April 30, 1975 in Göteborg) is a Swedish politician and trade union activist, member of the Swedish Social Democratic Workers' Party, from 2014 to 2017 Minister for Social Welfare and from 2017 Minister of Social Affairs. Curriculum vitae
She studied sociology and psychology at the University of Gothenburg. From 1996 to 2011 she worked as an industrial project manager, later employed in the insurance company Folksam Sak. She engaged in union activities within the framework of the organization SKTF (renamed Vision), bringing together local government employees. She was the chairwoman of Göteborg, vice president, and led the trade union between 2011 and 2014. After the election in 2014, the Social Democratic and Social Committee of Stefan Löfven, formed by the Social Democrats and the Green Minority, took office. In July 2017 she was promoted to the post of Minister of Social Affairs.
