Adam Wolański (born October 18, 1852, Werbeń near Beresteczka, died on March 22, 1933 in Krakow) - Polish numismatist.

He was a landowner, an agronomist by profession. From 1919, he lived in Krakow. He ordered the numismatic collection of the Czapski Museum. He gave this museum part of his library collections and works of art. he cooperated with the Rewindykacyjna Commission for returning to Poland of cultural goods removed after the partitions to Russia. The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus. According to her, these ants inhabited the deserts of Persia and India and extracted gold from their sands. Several such creatures were kept in the residence of the King of Persia.
