Adam Wolański (numismatist)


Adam Wolański (born October 18, 1852, Werbeń near Beresteczka, died on March 22, 1933 in Krakow) - Polish numismatist.

He was a landowner, an agronomist by profession. From 1919, he lived in Krakow. He ordered the numismatic collection of the Czapski Museum. He gave this museum part of his library collections and works of art. he cooperated with the Rewindykacyjna Commission for returning to Poland of cultural goods removed after the partitions to Russia. He was the editor of "Numismatics and Archeology News". From 1919, president of the Numismatic Society in Krakow. Selected publications Bibliography
