In the 1890s he became involved with the social democratic movement, in 1898 he joined the newly founded SDPRR, in the same year he was arrested and then sentenced to administrative exile to Jaroslaw and Voronezh. In 1900 he was one of the organizers of the Northern SDPRR Congress, in 1902 he emigrated, from August 23, 1903 to May 22, 1905 he was a member of the Central Committee of the SDPRR and in November 1903 and from May 1904 to February 1905 a member of the Party Congress of the SDCK. On February 22, 1905, he was arrested, in 1907 he left the party activity. Bibliography
