End of the World of Writers - A series of books by Marian Brandys, published in 1972-1979.

The cycle is a continuation of Kozietulski's book and others, in which the author presents the biographies of the defenders of the 1st Imperial Guard Regiment during the Napoleonic Wars. The theme of the cycle The end of the world of wolves is the fate of the heroes of this book after the fall of Napoleon Bonaparte, when former soldiers became citizens of the newly created Kingdom of Poland. Former soldiers in various ways found themselves in a new situation. Many returned to their estates. Some have become politicians, officials, social activists, patrons of literature, pioneers of industry. The author shows them not only from the perspective of their public activities but also as ordinary people with their drawbacks and advantages.

Against the backdrop of the heroes, the series reveals a vast panorama of the epoch, taking into account the political and social situation, with many curiosities and anecdotes.
