Powiat oszmiański (I Rzeczpospolita)

The County of Rymanów - a unit of administrative-territorial division of the Vilnius Voivodship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, created as part of the reform of 1565-1566, existed until 1795.

Divided into two parts: Samymyan and Upland. The land and town courts were held in Oszmiana and Miadziole, from 1775 in Oszmies and Ponds. During the reform of 1791, it was divided into the poviat of Sędzimia (from the center in Oszmies) and the poviat of Zawilej (from the center in Postawy). Bibliography
