Lew Karpow


Lev Yakovlevich Karpov (Russian: Лев Яковлевич Карпов, born April 30, 1879 in Kiev, died January 6, 1921 in Moscow) - Russian chemist and revolutionary, organizer of the chemical industry. Curriculum vitae

In 1898 he joined the SDPRR, in 1903 he became the chairman of the Eastern Bureau of the SDCK Central Committee, and in 1904 the Southern Bureau of the Central Committee of the SDPRR, from July 1904 to February 22, 1905 he was a member of the Central Committee of SDPRR. On February 22, 1905, he was arrested, from August 1906 to May 1907 he was secretary of the Moscow Committee of the SDPRR, in 1910 he graduated from the Moscow technical school, in 1915 he became the director of the chemical plant in Bondiuga. From February 1918, he headed the Chemical Industry Department of the Supreme Council of National Economy of the RSFSR and a member of the Presidium of this council, in 1918 he founded the Central Chemical Laboratory at WCIK.
