As a pupil of a printing school, he encountered the ideas of socialism and helped Maria Jankowska-Mendelson contact the arrested husband. He worked in the Association of Printers Fireplace. In 1891 he was a delegate to the Congress of Social Democrats in Vienna. In 1892 he was the organizer of the congress and co-founder of the Galician Social-Democratic Party in Lvov. He was the editor and publisher of the script Naprzod, at the first celebrations of the first days in Cracow in 1892 he spoke in defense of the freedom of the press. Professionally and earnestly worked as a zecer in the New Reform printing plant. For Kolejarz, he edited Kurier Kolejarzy, in 1897 he became the president of the Krakow printing society. In the years 1897-1910 he was the secretary of the Krakow Sickness Fund, for the next 10 years until 1920 he was its director. Just before the First World War, PPSD was posted to the TKSSN working in its finance department. From 1919, he was elected to the City Council in Cracow. From November 1922 he was senator of the 1st term of the Senate of the Second Polish Republic, representing the Polish Socialist Party. Senator of the second term elected in 1928 from the province of Cracow from the list of PPS. He worked in the committee of social legislation. Married with Maria Popowicz, father of engineer and colonel of WP George Jerzy Englisch. Buried in Cracow Rakowicki. Bibliography
