Stemming - in searching for information and in morphology (in linguistics) it is a process of removing from the word inflectional ending, leaving only the subject of the word. The process of the word can be carried out in order to measure the popularity of a given word. Inflorescent tips underestimate the actual data. The algorithms of computer science have been the subject of research in computer science since the 1960s. The first stemmer, or program for carrying out the process of the word, was written and published by Julie Beth Lovins in 1968. In June 1980, Martin Porter published his algorithm, the so-called Porter Algorithm.
