Stanisław Wyciński


Stanisław Wyciński (born May 6, 1899 in Linow, Bydgoszcz, died 21 January 1961 in Katowice) is an educational activist, Curriculum vitae

At the turn of 1918 and 1919 a participant in the Wielkopolska Uprising.

In the years 1922-1931 the head of the Secretariat of the People's Reading Society in Królewska Huta (now Chorzów), the executive body of the Silesian Regional Council of the Society of People's Readings. Initially it was located in Bytom, but after the split, as a result of the plebiscite of Upper Silesia in April 1922 it was transferred to the Royal Steelworks (now Chorzów), to the building at ul. 3 May 22, then at ul. In 1931 its seat was moved to Katowice, to the open Educational House at ul. French Since 1934 he has been a member of the Board of Bookshops and Compositions of Literature, located in the same building as the seat of the Silesian Section of the Central Board of the Reading Society in Katowice.

Before the outbreak of World War II, organizer of talks about Polish-German relations. During the war, after the opening of the Silesian School Office, he became his co-worker. From 1941 to the end of the war he worked as a head of adult education.

After the Second World War, He worked as a financial director at the Metallurgical Works in Szopienice (now the Katowice district).
