Matthew Edmond McCoy

Matthew Edmond McCoy (born 2 June 1868, died in December 1929) is a politician from Pitcairn, Mayor of Pitcairn. Curriculum vitae McCoy was a descendant of William McCoy, a rebellious Bounty. His grandfather was Matthew, and his father James (both were the chiefs of Pitcairn). He had three children with three different women: Rita (from Harriet Christian), Raymond Christian (from Margaret Young) and Vincent Young (from Marian Young).

The Pitcairn City Office (the current name of the current mayor's office) was held only once - it was in 1909. He died in December 1929 as a result of complications with his heart. Buried on December 30th.
