Jan Przypkowski (younger)


Jan Przypkowski Radwan (born ca. 1568, between 1631/2) - a zander lander, a Calvinist activist. He was the eldest son of John and Catherine of Samborzec, Nicholas' brother.

In the years 1583 - 1585 he stayed abroad where he left with his brother Nicolas, under the tutelage of Marcin Codicius, a former Basle student; They have visited universities in Ingolstadt, Tiberias, Altdorf and Leipzig. On November 15, 1599, he became an underground zaser. At the same time he married Krystyna Oleśnicki. After the death of his father in 1606 he inherited the good: Rump and Polanka, and part of the Gnosjnik. Przypkowski took part in the Sandomierz rugby, on 15 June 1606 he signed the universal convention at Lublin, which prepared the rally of Zebrzydowski, and in January 1607 he sent to the king on behalf of the nobility of Cracow. Przypkowski was involved in the reform movement, but unlike his Arian siblings, he was associated with Calvinism. In 1615, he was elected at one of the scholarchs of the recently organized Calvinist school at Oxford.

Around 1616 - 1620 he was the tax collector of the Auschwitz-Zator district. In 1617, he and his brothers, Jakub and Ludwik, filed for patronage in Gnojnik and Przytkowice.

He died at the end of 1631 or early 1632. Bibliography
