Hemistych
Hemispheres, also hemispheres (hemi hemis 'half' and stichos 'verse') are part of the verse.
In ancient metric, the term defining a line segment defined by a circle that crosses a line.
In modern poetry, half of the verse distinguished by medieval is defined in this way. The median divided speech consists of two hemiseconds, usually of equal length, also called a median and an intermediate.
A clear division into the hemistes occurred in an alliterated English poem. Also, in Old Germanic poems, one or two words of the first half-syllable were alliterated with one word from the second half-syllable. Both Hemistas had two accents.
