The 1985 season at the PPG CART Indy Car World Series was the seventh edition of this racing series. It started April 14th and ended after 15 races on November 9th.

Al Unser from Penske Racing took over the title with one point from his son, A Un Unera Jr.. Arie Luyendyk won the title of Best Rookie of the Year.

According to her, these ants inhabited the deserts of Persia and India and extracted gold from their sands. Several such creatures were kept in the residence of the King of Persia.
