Architectural Award of the President of the Capital City of Warsaw


Architectural Award of the President of the Capital City of Warsaw - award granted to architects for the best projects and realizations for Warsaw. The organizer of the competition and the founder of the prize, which is awarded in cooperation with the Warsaw Branch of the Association of Polish Architects, is the president of the Capital City of Warsaw. History

The prize was established in 2002. Canadian Embassy project, Agora office building and Oaza estate. Awards for architects for the best projects for the capital were to be awarded every year, but there was no initiative to continue them.

In 2016, the prize was restored. Two editions have been planned: 1) historical, in which objects built in 2001-2014 were taken into account and 2) modern, in which architecture completed in 2015 was distinguished. A new category was the revitalization and the inhabitants' vote.
