Barbara de Loor (born May 26, 1974 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch speed skater, gold medalist of the World Cup. Career
Barbara de Loor's biggest success came in 2005, when she won the gold medal in the 1000 m race at the Inzell World Cup. In this competition, Germany's Anni Friesinger and her compatriot, Marianne Timmer, It was the only medal won by her at an international event of this rank. In the same championships, it was also the fourth in the 1500 m race, also reaching the World Championships in Berlin in 2003 and the World Championships in Seoul later that year. She has won several times on the podium of the World Cup, but never won. The best result was achieved in the season 2000/2001, when it was fifth in the final classification of 1500 and 3000/5000 m. In 1998, she participated in the Olympic Games in Nagano, occupying the fourth place at a distance of 5000 m. The fight for the medal lost there with Ludmila Prokaszowa from Kazakhstan.
