Barbara de Loor's biggest success came in 2005, when she won the gold medal in the 1000 m race at the Inzell World Cup. In this competition, Germany's Anni Friesinger and her compatriot, Marianne Timmer, It was the only medal won by her at an international event of this rank. In the same championships, it was also the fourth in the 1500 m race, also reaching the World Championships in Berlin in 2003 and the World Championships in Seoul later that year.
