Diffusion soldering
Diffusion soldering - a method in which the diffusion process determines the chemical composition and physical properties of the solder formed with the solder extruded from the outside or produced by the diffusion action at the contact of the joined elements. The latter method can only be applied to materials that make up the eutectic mixtures. These conditions can also be provided by using appropriate coverings on bonded materials.
This process combines the advantages of conventional soldering and diffusion welding. The resulting solder exhibits thermal and mechanical stability at a temperature higher than the solder temperature. Bibliography
