Bolesław Rostowski


Bolesław Rostowski (born in 1921 in Krosno, died on July 31, 2016) - Polish specialist in machine building, the main constructor at Fabryka Maszyn Żniwnych im. Marcelego Nowotki "Agromet" in Płock. Curriculum vitae

He was the son of a Polish Army officer from the interwar period. In May 1939 he passed his high school diploma in Bydgoszcz and planned to study at the Officers' School of Aviation. After the Third Reich's aggression against Poland, he took part in the Polish defensive war of September 1939 in the construction of fortifications. During the German occupation, he worked on the railway in Sanok while cooperating with the anti-Nazi underground. After the war, he undertook studies in the field of machine building at the Wrocław University of Technology. From the 50-XX century, he was associated with the Harvest Machinery Factory. Marcela Nowotka "Agromet" in Płock as the main constructor. He was the manager of the team developing the KZB-3A-Vistula construction, he was also involved in the development of subsequent Bizon agricultural combines.
