Sermon on the day of the Holy One

Sermon on the day of the Holy One - a sermon in Polish written in the code of the mid-15th century.

The sermon is placed in the Latin code. They were named In Die Omnium Sanctorum. The anonymous text is perhaps a copy of the original from about 1430. The theme of the sermon is the passage from the Gospel of St. Matthew 5: 1-12, a fragment of the Sermon on the Mount), which was placed in Polish before the Latin sermon. The preaching of the sermon is based on opposing the blessings. For example, according to some, it is wealth, according to others, fun and sensual enjoyment, according to others - wisdom. But the true blessing is the state described by Jesus, who in this sermon is developed. The poor in spirit are humble, silent, afflicted by the pleasures of the world, thirsty for justice, merciful, pure heart, loving peace, endure persecution. The state of blessing brings the greatest inner happiness. Bibliography
