Polichoron

Polichoron - four-dimensional multicell. It consists of elements of lower dimensions, namely: three-dimensional cells (polyhedra), walls (polygons) and edges and vertices.

The name is derived from the Greek words poly - much and choros - space.

Polichoron is a four-dimensional analog of a polyhedron and a polygon (respectively in the third and second dimensions).

Polichora is a closed, four-dimensional figure. The most famous examples are the four-dimensional symplex and the four-dimensional hyperactivity. At the top of the polychromes meet at least four edges. At each edge there are at least three walls. In contrast, in each wall are exactly two three-dimensional cells, which are analogous to the wall in the lower dimension and are polyhedrons. In addition, adjacent cells lie in different three-dimensional hyperplanes. Polichora shaped Bibliography
