Ivan Kovačić

Ivan Kovačić (born on April 25, 1974 in Split) - Croatian politician, dentist and university teacher, parliamentarian, from 2016 to 2017 deputy prime minister and minister of public administration. Curriculum vitae

A dentist by education, he graduated in 1998 at the University of Zagreb. At the same university he obtained a master's degree (2001), specialization in dental prosthetics (2004) and a PhD in dentistry (2006). He started practicing as a dentist. In 2010 he became the head of the newly established department of dental prosthetics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Split.

He was involved in political activities under Most. In 2013, he took the post of mayor of Omiš. In 2015 he obtained the mandate of a deputy to the Croatian Assembly. He successfully applied for re-election at early 2016 elections. In October 2016, he became deputy prime minister and minister of public administration in the newly formed government of Andrej Plenković. He was dismissed from these positions in April 2017.

The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus.
