Son of Dziwisz from Romiszowice and Mierzyn, a grandson of Sieradz, and daughter of Andrzej from Koprzywnica. Grandson of the voivode of Sieradz Klemens from Mierzyn.

He participated in the congress of the nobility in Radomsko in 1384, related to the conflict surrounding the occupying of the Polish throne after the death of Ludwik Węgierski.

He had a defensive knight's court (fortalicjum) in Romiszewice.
He died before 17 March 1411, probably participating in the military campaign of Jagiełło against the Teutonic Knights (1409-1411).
Married twice: I v. with Helen II v. with Anna from Suchcice. He had daughters of Elżbieta and a daughter unknown by his name, Niemięrzą z Sokolinik, and sons Jakub, Tomasz and Andrzej (canon of Gniezno and Łęczyca). Bibliography
