Baudilio Tomé Muguruza


José Manuel Soria López (born May 12, 1962 in León) - Spanish politician and lawyer, parliamentarian, activist of the People's Party, auditor at the European Court of Auditors. Curriculum vitae

He graduated in 1985 from the Complutense University of Madrid. In 1989, he graduated in Economics from the UNED University of Distance Education. In 1992, he obtained a master's degree at Harvard Law School, part of the Harvard University.

He worked in the tax administration as a tax inspector, he was also an academic teacher, among others at the home university. In 1996, he was employed in the office of Prime Minister José María Aznar as director of the department for economic and social affairs, then as the director of the office for the budget. In the years 2000-2002 he was the secretary of state in the Ministry of Science and Technology. Later, until 2004, he was the director of the department for research and political communication in the prime minister's office, he was also the secretary general of the FAES foundation.

In the 2004 election, on the list of the People's Party, he was elected to the Congress of Deputies of the 8th term in the district of Zaragoza. In 2008 and 2011 he successfully applied for re-election. In March 2012, he became a Spanish representative at the European Court of Auditors.
