Howard Sackler
Howard Sackler (born 1929, died 1982) - playwright and American director, winner of the Pulitzer Prize. He was born on December 19, 1929 in New York. He graduated from Brooklyn College. He wrote dramas and film scripts, including to Szczęk II. He married Greta Lynn Lungren. He had two children with her, Daniel and Molly. He died at the age of 52 in the Spanish city of Ibiza, where he had a home. The Pulitzer Prize in the field of drama for 1969 was awarded for the play The Great White Hope, about a black boxing heavyweight champion.
